After being in the hospital last weekend with the croup, we have all just been exhausted. Fortunately I have an awesome Mom. She came down and kept Hollan on Monday and Tuesday and we got some sleep! So I am just now getting around to gathering all of my thoughts and trying to figure this blog thing out!
I titled this "Before you know it" becasue with a baby everything happens so fast. Miss Hollan is showing an independent streak lately. Normally when I hold her she will just lay that sweet little head down on my shoulder and look at me while I sing or hum Jesus Loves Me to her. And normally after a bottle she will let me cuddle her and do the same. Well, not anymore! For the last few days she wants to be held the way SHE wants to do it, and after a bottle I dare not try to cuddle her. She looks like a little turtle, holding that little tennis ball head up and looking around. Makes me sad~! She even tries to hold her own bottle. She is only 4 months old so I am worried about what is to come as she gets older!I mean, will she be driving at 5? I put her in her booster seat just to see how she would like it. It's kind of like a Bumbo. She LOVED it! I posted a few pictures of her from this week. I REALLY wish I could get them under the post instead of above it, but oh well. Kunze will have to send directions! She is just a happy baby and I love it. I don't know what we ever did without her!
